$2,200 a year for full coverage on the 02 ZL1. Does that sound about right or should I keep shopping?

Have you tried our sponsor, MK Insurance? From what I've found, they're hard to beat on the specialty stuff...<p align="center">

GRB, Try MK. I just signed up with them and they beat "the other" guys by a considerable amount, provided that the things 12Bolt pointed out are OK.

I'll try 'em. Driving record perfect. Age approaching final destination. Just seems $200-$300 every time you crank a car is a little high. But then again, the music from open headers, 427 C5R, C5R race heads, .750+ lift solid roller just might be worth it!

The later year musclecars, ie: Porsche 911 turbos, late model Vettes and Camaros/T/A's are usually rated in a different rate category, not in the traditional " antigue" category, the base rate of course is usually somewhat higher then say a 69 Camaro simply because it is classified different. Your agent should be able to show you the different rates for the various categories.

Agreed value is a guarantees the $125,000 will be paid to you in a total loss situation. Stated value does not, it is just a way to establish a rate to charge you the premium, yet the value is not determined until after the total loss occurs and the insurance company can pay you what they determine the value is. This is when you will end up short due to depreciation. Thanks, give me a call if you wish to disucss further or need a collector auto ins quote (1-866-695-2774)
