Was ZL3 an SS designation? I was always curious why GM would put the RPO codes on the sheets for those options requiring body mods, but for the SS mods they would not use 'Z26' [/ QUOTE ] I do not know why they did not use 'Z26' As mentioned above, I think this was the code for the Rear Tail panel with "SS" emblem. Fisher body codes were more specific than GM RPO's as they only were for a one of the components of a package. The hood and Grille were done on the GM side. Greg
