COPO or Supercar Convertible

I am new here, but I am an avid 69 camaro convertible collector. I have searched for some time trying to find out if the supercar dealers ever did a convertible for 69. I apparently don't know where to look, or it didn't happen? If someone can point me in the right direction, where I could find info on this topic if available I would be grateful.

Factory L89 was the most hp you could get.

I think they have found 3 or 5 of L89 convertibles.

I know the factory was 375hp. But what about Yenko, Nickey, Baldwin etc? Is there any convertible info from them? I would think they would have done a few convertibles maybe more..?

None of the super car builders did any convertibles that I have heard about. The lack of the roof for stiffness combined with the 100 lbs of cocktail shakers probably turned the off

There was suppose to be a Motion 69 Camaro Convertible in AZ. I never heard if the car was real or not but the guy was claiming it was last year.

Are u referring to the supposed Nickey Camaro? This is from the "Good Guys" show last fall here in the valley. Hey, look at the poster, it's a one-of-one!

Thats the car I was thinking of.. I know it was forsale in AZ for like 60k or something close to that and was suppose to go to an auction last year too but it dropped off the face of the earth it seems.

Does anyone know anything about it? Stefano??

Local friend is pursuing the car but as of yet no definitive proof that it is real. He is a real pit-bull when it comes to tracking down docs and original owners (and their grandmothers). Price has gone up substantially. Can't remember exact amount, but if it is real it wasn't enuff and if it isn't real it was way too much.
