Brian,
Are those Cragars from 'the day'? How about the tires?

That thing is a time capsule!

The CRAGARS are direct bolt pattern "from the day" mags...The tires are old school as well, but the tires are unusable. I am still surprised they held air...BKH

If that is orig paint I think I would use that rust removal stuff that NJsteve is using and just remove all the rust. Then polish the paint and Boeshield the bare metal. What a great survivor.

Congratulations on the purchase Steve, and that was great of Jeff to lay the groundwork for you to be able to acquire the car. The car is a neat time capsule and will be very special when completed. I've found a '67 Camaro from Dana outside the US with Dana paperwork but no proof via paper that the car had a 427 installed by Dana even though the "folklore" which follows the car says it did. Anyway, not nearly as cool as what you have but some of the Dana stuff, as well as cars from the other heavy hitters, is still out there. It's always great to hear these resurrection stories and see the accompanying photos. Best of luck with the car.
