Re: Old Street Scenes
Seeing those tow trucks reminds me of a toy I owned called " Big Bruiser " A White motoized truck with a crunched car you could tow around. Anybody remember that one

Re: Old Street Scenes
Cool tow truck! I had to push mine around by hand, and they were made of sturdier metal than todays Hondas and Toyotas!

Now find Tiger Joe Tank !!! [/ QUOTE ] Did you miss the Tiger-Joe clip Geoff...it was on the same page as the Bruiser.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmMBM...eature=related I had a similar rig to the Bruiser but not quite the same.. Actually I have it now and almost all my old Christmas trucks plus older one's I'd been given too as I found boxes of them still in the basement at the folks place a few years back...Buddy-L, Marx, Structo, Tonka and even a few Canadian Lincoln brand units too.. ~ Pete -------------------- I like real cars best...the REAL real ones! |

Re: Old Street Scenes
I knew this building during the 50's and 60's as "Pryor's General Store" growing up in Shrub Oak, NY - a small hamlet in Westchester County. Since the early 70's it became a liquor store which it still is today.

The gent on the left was my bus driver in grade school. I got these photos from his grandson.
