Yep - thats what my book shows.
How 'bout a value for it. I'm assuming the heads are not the 'original' ones for that block since they are square port. Dang shame we dont know where the body for that engine is so we can match them back up...

The square port heads may be worth more than the rest of the engine. You need to get the casting numbers and dates for the heads.

-----The Corvette boys will love to get hold of that two-bolt main 351 block. There are plenty of 390 and 400 horse Vette owners around that will pay good money for your short-block.........Bill S

Well, now I have a bit more info

block is definitely the 351 casting (not sure what the guts are)
069 intake
drivers side head is casting 3964291 w/ date of E 23 70
pass side head is casting 3904391 w/date of D 8 7

In a very rough '69 chevelle with a M20 (69 dated muncie but not original to the car) and a non-posi 12 bolt (CA code) and a tilt column

Can be bought for $5500 - just not sure if I'd make any money parting it out.

Opinions?

The 291 head should bring $350-500 on Ebay. The 391 might bring as much as $2000. About another $350-500 for the intake. Another $2000-3000 for the short block. How many resalable parts are left on the car? Is it an SS? Tilt column would bring a few hundred more. Disc brake car?

Thanks for the input!
Not an SS - just a bench seat Malibu
All the glass is good, but I didnt check date codes
interior could clean up for a decent driver, but the front bench is blue, rest is black.
All the front end has been rebuilt, shame to waste it, but I wouldnt be into selling off each A-arm etc.

Can you post the casting date off the side of the block? I will check my Doraville, GA 67 B-body list later and see if I have than vin number listed.
