[ QUOTE ]
Mr. Egizio at one time had a Corvette for every year and when a new one came out he would put it away, believe they were all upstairs at the dealership. I wonder what happened to all them cars, most had little or no miles on them.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have heard that there is a stash like this somewhere near my home. Apparently a barn/garage/something filled with a new vette from every year. Could be the same person?

does anyone remember going into the Nickey parts dept? They use to have that gold 64 Chevelle 300 427 parked outside the door.

That area outside the parts dept was a good place to show off the latast conversions......you had to walk thru the service area to get into the parts dept and on weekends that was a good area to show off what was new......I vaguely remember the 64.....but remember, that was an "Old" car at the time and we were interested in the new stuff...As I remember the 64 had gold rims and blackwalls
Just thinking........Wouldn't it be neat (but stupid from a business perspective) to recreate the Nickey Business as it was and have it as a strictly Vintage Muscle Car Sales and Restoration business......Maybe if I had Charley's money.....LOL

Stefano's clout alone would be enough to make that a reality.

I'd love to bring my Z Frank '67 Corvette to the Vettefest for the Triple Crown in fall of 2006.

"(but stupid from a business perspective)"

Ken,

It is the "stupid" ones who make all the others look really smart

I have spoken to many people who were at Nickey or a part of Nickey Legacy, from back in the day who plan to spend time at the SYC display sharing info and stories with any and all members and enthusiasts.

Stay tuned for more details.
