Really coming along nice Bill. Can't wait to see more pics as you start the assembly, the fun part.

It's been a real busy few days around here. Everything that gets orange paint, is done. The base and clear went on smooth as glass, with almost no dirt. The color sanding, and wheeling, will begin next week. It should be fairly easy, since the clear flowed out so well. Here's a couple shots of the progress.

Thanks folks... I'll post more progress pics in a few weeks. Right now it's early Sat morning, and I'm headed out to remove the masking paper, it took me 2 days to do.

It's been a couple more busy days on the ElCamino. I did a bunch of masking AGAIN!! (Man I'm sick of masking)....anyway, I painted all the black on the whole car, including the dash, panel behind the seats, and the bottom of the car. I mixed the black paint/flattener 7 times, before I got the sheen I was looking for. it came out real nice. Now with all the painting finished, it's time to start sanding/buffing the orange. That should take a couple weeks, because the bed is gonna be a hassle. Also got the sound deadener on the floor and ceiling. Since it's pouring rain, (again) I may as well get started sanding tomorrow. More updates in a few weeks.
