Nice talking to you Ken! Have the 'little woman' take care of you for a few days...not that she doesn't already!

The "Finished Parts" ready for assy bench is starting to get Full........whenever I get overwhelmed by the amount of work to be done, I go in the basement and look at the bench and think of how much fun it's going to be putting this stuff back together.......
The Engine is being machined and should be back in the garage in a couple of weeks (Thanks to Tom Williams Wilmasboy) for the cylinder heads.......This is the point of the project where you seem to be overwhelmed and it seems to never end.....I've been there before, but to someone who has never done this before......It's one piece at a time and every one needs to be touched.......believe me ........the guy's that restore cars for a living understand that most people don't have a "Clue" how much Time and work is required.......Hat's Off to you guy's...

I had to "Cheat" a little bit and spray a little paint on the underside to see the result of the "Dirty Days"

Man.......That Red Dirt/Clay from these cars that come from the south is everywhere......After the bottom was given a light coat of paint before going to the Paint Shop, I blew out the inside of the frame rails and got the whole place dirty again, that stuff gets into every nook and cranny.........Any how .......here are some before and after pictures

After Power Washing........That Red dirt harden's like Cement until you knock it off with a wire brush and work it down

Same Area after cleaning

Getting there.....

That car is in some shape ken. Makes it so much more rewarding when you can finish the blasting and see no pits.
She is going to be very nice.
