I am not at home but I know the number is over 700. Plus, with the number of Hemi cars I see, 108 seems WAY too low. R/T numbers are higher than that, and the GTX always sold better with the Hemi for all the other years. . . 108 doesn't make logical sense.

I see 1 resource that shows the number you mention however most show the figure I stated. Let me know if you find a reliable source and what the production numbers state. When I researched my car, at the time I thought is was just over 100 cars and fewer in B5 blue. Mine also had blue interior with a four speed and I thought there were a total of 5 produced with that combo. Just curious to know what the origins of your figure are. Either way, cool car and I appreciate the post as it brings back good memories of my old car.

Well, you're making one big mistake already - you can't combine options to arrive at a number. You can find out how many Hemis were built, how many came with a certain option, but not a combination of such. And Chrysler didn't keep records of colors until 1970 unless yours is Buffed Silver. Hence, saying "1 of 5" not only isn't documented, but it is statistically incorrect.
Galen Govier's book has the larger number published in his White Book, which is good enough for me. Numerous sources for 108 just means several people copied the wrong resource (just like several people copied the correct resource ). |

I see 703 Hemi GTX's being built with 305 4 speeds and 398 automatics. There were also 17 Hemi GTX convertibles build with 7 4 speeds and 10 automatics. This is from mymopar.com.

Even the 17 is not a concrete number, from what I understand. There's something about 1967 records that are different - maybe what paperwork exists is not the same as for other years? I dunno, but Galen's book shows generalities compared to specifics in other years.

Wow, I have not seen one consistent number which basically tells me that the number may not be known. I do agree that Galen probably has the most accurate information based on the fact that he is a well known and respected authority. He has inspected several of my Mopars and I do trust his figures. That being said, who knows the real number?

A buddy in NC has 3 67 Hemi GTXs in a very large private collection. Almost 100 cars. Almost all Mopars and Pontiacs. One shivverlay, one Buick. Don't think he has a single Ford.
