Regarding Lud's '68 Camaro that changed hands at MCACN, I may not have had a Senior Moment. Word comes to me from a Forum member, owner of a real L88 Baldwin-Motion Camaro, that Dana Mecum did buy Lud's Camaro, and sold it to Wayne S. At least I got part of it right!!

Auction placement here is a major factor in the final price of this one.

Its good to play king maker.

Are there more photos than the one that was on display from BITD

I hope this is ok to discuss now that it’s sold.

Congrats to buyer and Seller. That is one bad a$$ Super Car. Does anyone have a copy of the letter from Bill Mitchel to post. Just curious and would like to see it.

Does anyone know if the car originally had bumper guards? I'd assume so but it also looks like it has additional guards.?. Here's the photo from the other thread. Why were they removed and not reinstalled? Just curious. Incredibly cool car and I'd be proud to own it. Just wondering about the full history. One more; Does any know the timeframe of the photo?

That might not be bumper guards in that photo. That may be some sort of bumper tow bar set up. The story on the car said that the owner towed it behind his RV.

Hadn't heard that part of the story. Thank you. Still doesn't explain why pulling the factory style guards off. Interesting car for sure.
