Re: 1968 GTO Convertible
[ QUOTE ]
after seeing the pics, i would leave it as is and maybe detail and correct small stuff as you go. Looks pretty good as it sits. John Mike, really nice looking car!! and a 4 spd too! [/ QUOTE ] I agree with John, fix/detail the small stuff and enjoy driving it with the top down... BTW, I had a '68 hardtop that color in the early 90's...that's my favorite color for a '68. John, thanks for the compliment, it sure is a fun car here in Fl. Mike |

Re: 1968 GTO Convertible
Wow! You learn something every day, I figured the '68's would bring more money than later years - no basis for that opinion, just a carryover from the Nova world. I think that car would be a lot of fun just the way it sits - including the stereo to overpower the wind noise

Re: 1968 GTO Convertible
That color looks great on a convert. Nice car. Just get rid of the 400-4v decal in the air cleaner. That's just like having a "Caution Fan" sticker on a fan shroud in a Camaro.

Re: 1968 GTO Convertible
Thx guys , In all honesty , that's exactly what I thought , You really can't afford to do a GTO frame off unless it's for yourself and you don't care or you can do it yourself!! I love the cars, but as you can see it's a pretty good driver as is and looking at that Varedaro Green car,... that's absolutely goregeous,... and it's only a $35 -$40 US car and hard to move ????I kinda knew the answer before I asked it but I thought maybe I was wrong, Thx again guys. I', just gonna leave it as is and enjoy it. Bob
