Just about done with the firewall decided to fire up the engine before hanging front clip, I run a hose into the water pump and out the intake (grey hoses) for cooling while I was running it, I like my fingers....

It is a Comp 305H I ran one in 396 nova in the 80's and the car ran quite good (12.30's here)for what it was so I decided to go old school and try one again.

![]() I was wondering about this car a week or two ago, thanks for the cool updates! Have you sent in for the NCRS dealer info yet...it may offer nothing more than a clue to the history but worthwhile for all it costs also help you decide how to fill your dealer emblem holes? Vern Trider? That was an Anaheim Chevrolet dealerstarted out on Anaheim Blvd if I remember correctly, then moved to the corner of Euclid and Lincoln...Changed to Southland Chevrolet in 1993? Southland is now closed as well...and a Target store is on the land where the dealer once was...

This seems very similar to the car that there was a discussion about on another thread that was owned by an Anaheim pd detective.
