It would almost be worth paying Photobucket a one time fee to reinstate those third party photos, EXCEPT their fee is a yearly subscription to keep those photos reinstated! Typical bait and switch technique.

I wouldn't pay Photobucket a dime!

Saw this Photobucket Victims Wanted note below when I logged onto my Fotki photo host site today.
The last line just above the free trial button reads like they may be able to transfer someone's whole Bucket into a new Fotki account at once?
Sounds too good to be true but you guys w/ multi pics you don't want to lose but too many to go through and individually load to a new host should perhaps look into this...before the 2'nd shoe drops and you lose access your Photo#ucket accounts?
Fotki's awesome and I've been running w/ them for almost 10 years, I think the plan I have is one better than basic to get the gigs up and costs something like $50 a year?

That would be interesting to know if someone has success doing this ?
I personally quit using Photo%$it long ago, to many adds to load. I have been making TN's @ easy thumbnails when I have a bunch to post, or paint when it is 1 or 2 here and there. Paint is easy but make a copy first B4 you resize and save.

Only slightly different than the EpiPen controversy - Corporation decides they have a hostage audience and can charge whatever they want for their product. Difference here is the customers have decided they can live without Photobucket and are leaving by the thousands, regardless of the carnage it has caused on boards like this.
