Those goosenecks sure look handy.

Also, I had a CVX20 on that same trailer. I bet the dually can’t even feel it back there.

Yep.

Can't feel it and can't see it.

I'm going to sell the 24,000 lb, 30 yard dump trailer to a buddy of mine. Since we decided to stop building houses it just sits around. The best part is I can borrow it back whenever I need it(once or twice a year).

Lest you think I only tow old junk trucks, here's my old junk boat.

Glastron Carlson CVX20. 460 BB Ford with a Berkley jet.

And a '75 Blazer for the GM fans.

I bought two of them that are identical and rust free. A '61 and a '62. They were used on a quail plantation to move the hunters and dogs around.

They were sold at an construction & farm equipment/ auction and I was the only one there that knew what they were and what they are worth.

Great thread, lot of cool rigs!

This works for me. 2010 20' Alum-Line ordered 6" narrow and 6" lower than standard with no frills for long distance runs. Overkill construction and axles, loaded weight never exceeds 60% of ratings, including tires. I've pulled it over 90,000 miles through 42 states.

The L5P D-Max is good for 12/28 at 70 plus and pulls mountain grades with no drama.

I looked at this truck a few weeks ago. It still ran but the owner wanted $15k and it needed way too much work in my opinion. Still pretty cool.

Reminds me of a couple dump trucks I bought at a farm auction. Bought two and sold the 73 for the same combo price so had a free 64. I was wanting to make a ramp bed hauler out of it but never did.
