my restored matching #1968 396/350 hp nova;turbo 400 car/grotto blue;bench seat and column shift ran a career best quarter mile ET of 13;19 with 3;42 gear and stock exhaust manifold on redline bias tires.Have a cool shot of the car leaving the line at our local 2008 night of fire event at orlando speedworld.As soon as I can get the scanner working i will post the pictures.Hey clary ,I used some wax and grease remover to remove the bias ply rubber from the quarters;worked very well.chris teed

Car & Driver tested a dead stock 1968 396/350HP Nova w/M-21 & 3:55 posi during Aug.1968 that got a best of 14.5 @ 101mph on Uniroyal E70X14's. |

there the picture.that was taken on the 13:19 pass .i made a few other passes with a 13;22 and 13;24.the quadrajet was working good that night with a little fine tuning of the air valve ,it was dead on.Chris
