Default 1970 chevelle SS wheels AO code value set of 5

I have a chance to buy a matching set of 5 SS wheels, 4 have the rings and caps, They have been in storage 35 years, Not perfect but nice. I am out of touch on the prices of these wheels and do not want to pay too much. They are all off the same car. Thanks

$500-$750
if they are a matching set and will match the date codes of your car the above prices would be fair.

Well i ended up buying th e wheels, i ended up paying a little more for them but they were actually very nice wheels.
I turned out to be a pretty cool story about the wheels. I started talking to the guy back and forth by email.
I asked him how he got the wheels, he said he bought a 1970 Chevelle SS back in the early 70`s of a lady who bought the car from a local small town dealership in Sakatchewan, Canada. She only put 4000 miles on the car when she decided it was not for her and up for sale it went.
The guy (Stan) that had the wheels up for sale bought the car. He had the car for about 4 years and kids and farming came into the picture so the car goes up for sale. The car now had 12000 miles on it. He said when the car had right around 10000 miles on it he removed the SS wheels, for a short time put them on a 1956 Bel Air which he still has.
He really did not like the look of the wheels on the car so he removed them and put them in the garage attic and that was about 35 years ago. He is moving farms and decides he will sell the wheels.
Well back to the story, the car goes up for sale and he sells it to a friend of his who works on the rigs in Lacombe Alberta. He said he even drove the car to the rigs.
Well it is now around 1975 and this guy (Brian) puts the car up for sale.
During one of our emails i asked him more about the car. He replies back to me the car was a Orange with white stripes 4 speed LS6 car.
A guy i know owns a 70 Orange LS6 4 speed car. He bought the car in around 1975 or 1976.
I email the guy back and ask if he knows who owns the car now. Turns out these are the original wheels off the LS6 car that the guy i know has now.
Well now i will talk to the guy that own the car now and get them back on the car they belong too.
Just thought i would share the story.
