Pretty cool car - obviously been repainted the wrong color - and it's had a 427 under the hood for nearly 50 years so why not keep it that way?
The price is way up there for a car like this, but if the seller's willing to work with the buyer maybe there's a comfortable middle ground. Can't beat buying something that has been cherished by the same person for decades and not traded from one person to another, dealer to dealer, etc.... The last sentence kills me...the seller's downsizing because 'time waits for no one.' Indeed, but when I go, I want my kids to take my cars instead....
