Interesting '68 Impala 4-Speed - Possible L-72?
This one requires some vision...look past the orange paint and 1990s speed parts...but check out the 6000rpm tach redline, optional gauges, 4-speed, ladder bars, etc. The tach alone is a 425hp piece and the rest of the equipment seems to suggest this might have been one of those special cars. Currently has a NOM 396....
I'd check this one out if I were local to York, PA. Link to 1968 Impala eBay auction 164878T157328 |

Maybe. Correct hood for SS427, wonder if he has the chrome insert that is suppose to be on that hood. Wrong Harrsion radiator for 425hp car. Should be the big 4 row.

Agreed that it has some L72 and/or SS427 indicators, but wouldn't it have SS427 emblems on the steering wheel and dashboard if it was indeed an SS427?
