Default 67-69 Camaro ROCKER MOLDINGS ????

1) How is the fit and finish of the REPRODUCTION "1967 - 1969 Camaro Rocker Panel Chrome Molding, High Grade OE Style, $53 Each" Molding that Camaro Central Sells VS the OEM Moldings ??

2) "Carlisle" Value of GOOD Pair, USED OEM Trim and the Mounting Brkts, Screws ??

3) "Carlisle" Value of NOS OEM Rocker Trim (Factory Paper Wrapped) / Pair R&L ?? (Camaro Central $179 Each https://www.camarocentral.com/1967_1..._p/3904540.htm)

The OEM Moldings I have appear to be Brite Dip Anodized ALUMINUM............Not Chrome

Found this OLD picture comparing OEM with Reproduction

Thanks for your experience

Chuck. I looked for NOS moldings for my low mile 69 Z for 20 years.

I ended up purchasing the Best ones that Camaro Central sells.

Very happy with fit and finish. I doubt a judge could tell original from repop in this case.

Mind you, this is the ONLY repop part I have ever said that about. I go out of my way to avoid all the repop stuff if at all possible.

My recent Experience with a Great Local source for GM service Spears they were very affordable. I stored them for ten years. Finally went to put them on and the GM Plastic wrapping with the blue-green GM screen printing Bonded to the Anodized Alum transferring the Blue to the PART! Same thing Happened to my NOS Wheel Well arch trim. So out comes a variety of means and methods to Remove the staining and not destroy the factory finish. I was thinking of starting a thread on this hazard when purchasing VERY expensive NOS Alum- Anodized GM trim. I am not sure as a seller or buyer how this can be assessed or mitigated. So to Chuck I stuck to my Guns and installed Gm spears and they fit fantastic. I have never installed imports so I can not comment on those.
