Default Larry Clain

Could the Baldwin-Motion 'vette that is advertised in our own musclecars for sale section be one of his?

The thought crossed my mind too but seeing the note of Joel documenting it, you'd think if anything was amiss for one the guy would've at least waited longer before attempting to contact Joel...or ever sell it?.
This brings a couple more thoughts to mind;
1 - has someone laid Larry's Vins on Joel and made him aware of what's happened...Ed?
2 - would anyone attempting resto of a genuine Motion Vin car have taken Larry's cars to use as a rebody or even as a donor car for their own?.

I'll expect all is well and the guy is straight up...but that still leaves us w/ the cars missing??.
Any updates you can tell us Ed?.

Another thing, were PM's w/ Larry deleted by the Mods?.
I see his postings are still alive and hopefully remain so as there's so much he can still offer when we dig back into old threads...but my PM's are gone and I don't remember deleting them?.

RIP Larry!

let us not forget that these cars may have changed hands several times already. I cant imagine the thieves holding on to the entire lot.

Pete...

I still have a few PM's from Larry...so you must have deleted yours...The only reason that I saved mine was because they had contact info...I guess I can delete them now

Last I heard Larry's cars were still unaccounted for. That was about a month ago. What I do know is the titles to both cars were seized by the authorities.. where they are now that Larry's estate has been settled I do not know.. Hopefully still in the hands of the authorities investigating the theft. here are the VINs on both cars.. So keep your eyes open.

1970 BM Phase III GT vette s/n 194370s416301

1969 BM Phase III GT vette s/n 194379s710137

and yeah I'm still pissed....

Certainly high profile cars that would be nearly impossible to sell at retail value.

Ed...thanks for the BM car Vins but do you have and is it possible to post the Vins of the other stuff that got away too?.
I never did hear or clarify what all was included in the missing list...besides the 2 BM cars, there was a truck and trailer, the '69 Vette and Can-Am Frisbee racers also was there an L78 Nova...and more?.
Just thinking one small little thing found can lead to the rest?.
