It was Red with Bisquick in gold down the side.

There are some pretty well known shots of a Biscayne with Bisquick on the side floating around on the net or am I thinking of another car?

As we've discussed here in the past there was at least a half dozen or more cars running the Bisquick moniker back in the day..

Hi Tom,

Mine is a Burnished Brown L72/M22 from out of Michigan. It was purchased from one of the members of this site. Original engine is gone, but the rest of the car is there.
It's patiently waiting for my attention.( Once my 300 deluxe is finished!)

Through magazines and online, I count 8 L72 Biscaynes so far.

Zach, how's your car coming along? If it turns out half as nice as your 68, it'll be awesome!

Barry

Pete, I forgot to thank you for your post. Sorry about that.

Wow, that's pretty incredible, Barry. 8. God knows how many of these cars got crushed--people thinking they were just grandma's car.

Love the burnished brown. I'd would have ordered a brown or green one if I was around back then.

Just bringing this thread to the top - here is a rare YZ 15x6 wheel dated August 1968. Thought someone may need it for their big-car resto. When I owned my L72 Biscayne I looked endlessly for a fifth YZ wheel, so I hope this helps someone.

Tony -- what kind/brand of paint did you use to refinish the wheel? Thanks ... TAZ
