I had the oppportunity to chat with Mr. Robson at the POCI Co-Nats in Dayton last year about joining us for MCACN.
He was very gracious, but explained that he had a prior long standing commitment for an annual hunting trip. Hope he is happy with the results. His collection was absolutely amazing. Hopefully the new caretakers of some of these cars will consider joining us in 2011 for MCACN III. Bashton MCACN Managing Member |

![]() Steve, Jan's numbers are dead on, as evidenced by the list below, which I have seen a few times. He is referring to only 3 4sp of the 17 built and one is un accounted for. I thought that car would do a little more.......... and as an owner of both a 69 and a 70, I think the 70 is the best looking and most popular and I was also surprised at how much more the triple black car went for...That being said, I really want a 71 judge. When Dave C sold his (X Dr. Green) white (on of the 17) I wished I had the budget for it and that it was a 4sp.. My $.02 <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: njsteve</div><div class="ubbcode-body"><div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: jannes_z-28</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> I agree, the 71 Judge in his collection is one of only three produced, only two of them exists today. Jan </div></div> Jan, a lot more than three were made. I believe 13 of the 17 1971 Judge ragtops produced are still in existance. I think the 69 Judge has a far wider fan base than the love it or hate look of the 71s. Plus that particular 69 was an amazing car with a four speed, which commands a bigger price, especially in the RAIV and SD Pontiac world. This is from a posting on the Performance Years website: 1. Cameo White, ivory, white, Auto VIN # 242671P131352 Pontiac Invoice Previous owners Bill Wieman in AZ and Mike Green in CA. Sold at Mecum Indy Spring auction May 22, 2010, new owner unknown to me at this time. 2. Cameo White, ivory, white, Auto Dr. Tom Lane’s: The car was bought by Roger Norris in 1979 from Dr. Tom Lane in Levittown, PA and still remains with the Norris Family here in the US. A nice picture provided by gto4door from PY 3. Cameo white, black, black, Auto No information 4. Quezal Gold, black, black, 4 Speed VIN # 242671P121426 Current owner Milt Robson, currently being repainted to original color, was Gary Daniels in Tulsa probably sold for $300,000+, prior to Gary was owned by the original purchaser who painted it blue in before taking delivery. Options Fresh paint early in 2007 1 RM Auctions is selling this car (no reserve) on Nov.13, 2010 at Milt's estate in Georgia 5. Aztec Gold, sienna, sandalwood, Auto No information 6. Aztec Gold, ivory, white, 4 Speed It’s been a long standing rumor that this car was totaled just after it was sold new; within the circle of those who are “in the know”. 7. Special paint Camaro Rally Green, ivory, white, Auto Owned by Mike Green in California, originally from FL and the original motor was last reported in FL with a previous owner. 8. Tropical Lime, black, black, Auto VIN # 242671P110472 Pontiac invoice Was Dan McKinnon's in VA; in Canada and for sale at Legendary Motor, possibly in Texas at the moment. 9. Tropical lime, black, white, Auto VIN # 242671P101929 Pontiac invoice Current owner Alan Reed, was in Kansas for 20 plus years. Additional Pictures: 1 2 3 4 5 10. Cardinal Red, black, black, 4 Speed VIN # 242671P106957 Pontiac invoice Current owner Kevin Suydam in Seattle; was Gary Cave's, was in Sweden before Gary. The car in Sweden back in the 70’s: Picture 12. Laurentian Green, black, black, Auto VIN # 242671P110372 Pontiac invoice Was Steve and Noreen Brown's; restored by Scott Tiemann, Sold 12/10/05 at auction for $197,500 +10% auction buyers fee. As can be seen by the color codes the top color has been changed, possibly in Texas at the moment. Additional Pictures: 1 2 3 4 13. Laurentian Green, ivory, white, Auto Not sure if this is the correct picture per car; possibly owned by Mike Green in CA, possibly from CO before that. 14. Canyon Copper, sienna, sandalwood, Auto VIN # 242671P110916 Pontiac Invoice Current owner Ron Johnson of Potomac Classic bought this car in pieces and is now having it restored. PA. Ron has no intentions of selling the car at this time. 15. Starlight Black, sienna, white, Auto Rumored to have been destroyed in a fire sometime in the 80’s. 16. Lucerne Blue, blue, white, Auto VIN # 242671P1***** The correct car has just turned up in Maine where it has been all its life; more to follow hopefully. Yeah......I agree, the '69 ZL-1 was also a bargain at that price. Especially since it was one of the "other" ZL-1's and not one of the "generic" Fred Gibb cars. Kinda neat the way it was optioned with the center console, gauges, wood wheel and spoilers. For a factory Drag car, it almost seemed to have been ordered for street use. Anybody know any particulars of this #63 car? Milton like bulletproof docs and had long tenures of ownership with many of his cars. I've never had the chance to meet him but he always seemed to be a real enthusiast and really appreciated his stuff.

I think that car came out of Otis Chandler's collection. |

I always got the impression that 71 convertible was the Judge Holy Grail.
I actually prefer the 71. My high school shop teacher had a Tropical Lime 71 Judge hardtop, and he used to bring it to school and let us wrench on it. |
