don't think I am derailing topic,
but back in the day a lot of guys ran gauges on the wiper cowl ? anyone have any picture's ? was it mostly tach's ? that were out side the car or oil temp ? any help would be great

Mechanical Fuel gauge for sure. I run one on my 65.

My 66. Oil pressure and fuel pressure when I got it. Removed the fuel pressure for safety reasons.

The front Cragars are from 1969. The are STILL shining like new. The rears are mounted on L60x15 Mickey Thompsons. I even have the 11.5x15 M&H Racemaster slicks mounted on the original Cragars!

I sold a pair of those at a flea market years ago all beat to hell and back. If I'd have had them in that shape it would have been a whole different story.

I have the same valve covers on my car.....although not as nice. NOS are VERY hard to find.
