Got the bumpers back, took asking the right questions and TIME to find someone to do them like the factory. R & D does work for a Vette restoration shop in Florida that takes cars to NCRS meets. - he knew EXACTLY what I wanted!

I AM VERY PLEASED and WILL SEND THE NEXT JOB TO THEM.
If anyone is interested...
R & D Finishing in Elizabethton Tenn.
Turn around was a month - dropped them at fall autofair in CLT - received them today.
2 bumperettes
1 rear Bumper
1 shifter handle
$840 FOB Eastern TN.

These are not highly polished - NICKEL CHROME ~ NO COPPER ~ they have the sanding scratches and nice sharp crisp edges, the backs are nicely finished as well.
When I dropped them he drew out illustrations of the tooling marks and scratches and replicated them.

Liking the bumpers for sure. Great attention to detail and killer work.

Thats the cover that was on it... it was dated 12 - ?? the last numbers were not stamped deep enough to make out... I assumed it was correct because of the 12 date.

Was the timing tab attached to the original cover or was it separate and bolted on?
