Default Re: Camaro Z28 Clone Free Zone

This does not add up to me. If they are concerned about cloning when documentation can be had for cars after 1977 GM Vehicle Invoices, Build Records and Vintage Vehicle Information Availability,,,Clone the heck out of it. The docs WILL be avail to future collectors due to records retention above and beyond the 1960's.
Second it almost seems like the exurbanite buy in cost of obtaining a 2014 Z28 is as if they want to limit this vehicle and its PARTS. Limiting parts is a poor business practice in my mind. They might want to limit issue and use of incompatible parts on lesser equipped cars?

If I was in a position I WOULD have one of these Bad Mothers & stock up on parts in the Chinese GM wrapper and liquidate them 30 years from now!

Who's to say you can't buy a totaled Z-28, go to GM parts and order whatever you want then slap them on a non Z car??
