Here a couple of pics showing the hood and the remains of the vinyl top:






The PO had to move the car outside a few months back and removed the Parnelli Jones emblems for safe keeping. Here's a pic:




I may have some details wrong, because my buddy was trying to relay the story to me at the same time he was trying to get the car loaded and out of there, but here's the deal as I understand it. The PO's uncle worked for or with Parnelli Jones in some capacity, and received this car either for free or at a significant discount due to that relationship. When the uncle retired, he moved to Oregon, took the car with him, and subsequently passed away. A few years back, the PO finally talked his aunt into selling him the car and trailered it back to Nebraska, but never did anything with it. He reluctantly decided to sell it to my buddy in order to free up cash to complete the restoration of a 67 Chevelle SS396 that he's owned since he was a kid.
