Soon as someone posts the VIN we will know.

If it is the real McCoy they can begin negotiating with Jenkins family. Without the original paperwork it is just another old race car.

If the VIn is known, why would they need to negotiate with the Jenkins family ?
When I bought my ZL-1, I did not have to negotiate with the original owner or anyone because the VIN was known also. .... (although I did later get a bunch of paperwork on the car, but never found the actual original owner)

The Jenkins VIN is known only because of the paperwork. The Jenkins family may still have that info. Would you trust copies?

ZL1s were known because a Chevy executive retained the VIN list and released the info.

What do we know about Grumpy Toy VI?
Was it an SS 396 L78 or L89?
4 Speed?
Sold new at? Dealer?

L78 M22 4-speed 3:55 posi HD rear springs. Built prior to the availability of the ducted hood.

Sold new at Roth Chev Paoli, PA.

The guy who claims to have Toy IV is in this youtube at the Camaro Nationals 2023 with his Camaro. Claims "Jenkins helped us put the car together". That's not what many of the Jenkins fans say. I'm surprised they allow the car to be on this display there.
