I reassembled and threw the tank back in the car and the fuel gauge continues to get a good signal. I took a few archeological shots prior to putting all back together and wanted to get some input from the experts on the markings (crayon) and stampings (date code?) that I found. Notice all of the extra solder around the various joints.

Sam, sender was assembled 38th day of 1969.
These were Julian dated. What's the car's build date?

I was hoping that’s what that code meant. Thanks! The car is 06A built. I’m surprised you know this Shaun because I only thought you worked on them Prancin’ Horsey cars!
