Frank is getting a great canvas to start his masterpiece of a restoration. I am happy that he does almost the entire restoration at his shop with his team.

Bruce I agree with you 100% I remember as a kid in the early 70s my dad had them on his 67 GTX I thought they were the greatest thing ever. They would look good on a day 2 car that wants to give the look of the mid to late 70s. Troy did a great job preserving this car and when he took ownership in approximately 1976 the car had somewhere around 8000 original miles on it and when I took possession it was phenomenal to see the condition that he kept it in so congratulations to Troy for doing such a great job with the car and it shows just over 21,000 original miles so all of the body panels are nice and the doors shut like a butter. Once the car is underway we hope to have Troy and his wife come out and see the progress at Frank’s shop and I would love to have them come to the unveiling when we debut the car.

By the way Bruce at some point in time I probably will be getting rid of the centerlines and hopefully sending them to a good home if somebody is interested in them for their project. They will be priced fairly especially if they are going to a good home

If you decide to go with centerlines, make certain you have some hubcentric rings made. I don't believe anyone has them off the shelf. Several of my buddies commented on my Centerline wheels stating that I need to be sure to retorque the lug nuts occasionally. I don't have to, because I had rings made for them. Even the really old Centerlines, like I have on the El Camino should use them, even though they use a tapered lug nut. Cheap insurance.
