Hi Lee, I would have to defer to someone more knowledgeable...but I believe that you are correct?
Glad that you are enjoying the photos!

There were four 70 Hemi/auto Roadrunner converts on display (if you add the fresh resto Plum Crazy Car). I asked one of the guys by the unrestored car if all four cars were here-he said yes, all four Hemi autos. He said there was one 4speed made, but was confirmed destroyed years ago. Maybe someone here can verify.

I talked to one of the guys associated with the B3 and B5 cars and he said there were 5 Hemi Road Runner convertibles known to have been built in 1970. The four automatic cars were present at the show and the fifth car, which was a 4 speed, was destroyed early in it's life. The 1 of 4 signs by the cars were kind of misleading unless they were just referring to automatic cars.

I didn't speak to anyone at the show about this topic but intentionally circled back to this display to see if all 4 were there. There were indeed 4 70 Roadrunner verts with Hemi's in them. Only 3 of them had the "1 of 4" denotation on their MCACN sign so I assumed the 4th one was a transplant. Just an assumption on my part. I believe that the destroyed one was a drag strip warrior in NW Ohio back in the day.

Thank you Bruce.......your pictures are wonderful, as usual. I was there 4 days and still didn’t see the complete show with everything going on. That’s the bad thing about having your own car there......so many people I didn’t get to chat with......so thanks again!
Kurt
