Thank god this was Georgia otherwise this car would have been a pile of dust. This car is amazingly extremely solid with slight decay on drivers quarter and one tiny pin hole below rear seat which was very typical on convertibles.

Found a build sheet today on top of tank. Not in great shape and missing a bunch of pieces but a lot of the important stuff is there including the special paint, AU emissions tag (LS5 only) RU rear code (LS5 3.31:1) D80, selling dealer etc.
The owner of Everett remembers the car and they believe it may have been his dealer demo car in 1971. |

Very neat car and nearly identical to my hardtop version.
My 72 SS 454 is also Carolina Blue, built at the Arlington plant and sold new at Modern Chevrolet in Winston Salem, NC. |
