The horn bracket bolts on '69s were clear zinc only on early cars, after about November 1968 they were manganese phosphate.

Agree 100% with what Lloyd stated here. One of the biggest restoration hardware goofs on 69's is guys using zinc horn bolts. AMK includes them in there kit and is not correct but for a few very early cars. The photo here is of Dan's 69 Z "Mosportgreen66" Do not remember the build week. |
