Watch our video presentation here.

**THIS VEHICLE IS ON HOLD FOR MULTIPLE CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE BEEN PLACED IN ORDER BASED OF THE TIMING OF THEIR INQUIRY. PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR FINAL UPDATE**

Referred to as, “The Hulk” – this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS 502 Custom is one mean street machine. It was the product of rotisserie restoration that was completed in 2022. It’s in show quality condition throughout with has less than 100 miles since completion. The exterior was finished in Dark Green Metallic with front SS white stripes and a white vinyl top. The RS front end with covered headlights looks awesome. It has a killer stance on 18” US Mag “Rambler” wheels that are wrapped with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. The new black interior is slightly customized including Houndstooth TMI front and rear seats. The car is powered by a new GM Performance Deluxe 502/508HP V8 with a complete Holley Sniper fuel injection system. The engine is coupled to a new American Powertrain T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission with a new McLeod twin disc clutch. The power is transferred to the pavement through the Chevrolet 12-bolt POSI rear end. It’s equipped with an aluminum radiator, power steering, power four wheel disc brakes, performance suspension and so much more!

As the VIN number and trim tag indicates this car was built in Norwood, OH on the fourth week of February as a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro 6cyl 2-door sport coupe. It had a Butternut Yellow exterior with a black vinyl top and a black custom bucket seat interior. From the information gathered it was purchased at Gray’s Chevrolet located in Swansea, MA by a woman who lived in Cumberland, RI. She owned the car for 27 years until selling it to a couple who lived in Swansea, MA in 1995. This couple had intentions of restoring the car but they never did. The couple sold it to a gentleman named Robert Moniz “Bob” who lives in Swansea, MA in 2000. Bob has been collecting parts and restoring first generation Camaros for many years. His intentions were to fully restore this car which he eventually did over 20 years later. He completed the restoration in 2021. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Custom from Bob many years ago and he’s been a friend ever since. When Bob finished restoring this car he contacted MS CLASSIC CARS to purchase the car. MS CLASSIC CARS jumped on the opportunity and purchased the car in January of 2021. The car was stored until MS CLASSIC CARS started the service process in September of 2021. The plan was to improve on what Bob had completed and turn it into what we have here today. “The Hulk”!

The exterior of this Camaro is simply stunning with its iconic design and beautiful color combination. It just has the look! During the restoration the hood, front fenders and doors were replaced with GM sheet metal. It sports a cowl hood and rear spoiler. The body and gap lines are very nice throughout. The hood, doors and trunk lid close very nicely. The car was painted in Dark Tourmaline Metallic which is a Mazda color. It’s a very similar color to Emerald Green. The front was decorated with white SS stripes that were painted on and buried under the clear coat. The roof was dressed with a new white vinyl top which fits like a glove. The color combination including the vinyl top is absolutely gorgeous! All of the tinted glass is new throughout and crystal clear. Everything on the exterior was replaced new such as the stainless trim, antenna, wiper arms, RS grill, front bumper, front spoiler, door handles, fender trim, lower moldings, tail light bezels, tail light lenses, emblems and RS gas cap. Some of the customer features include Detroit Speed electric headlight covers and sequential tail lights. The car has a killer stance on 18” US Mags “Rambler” black wheels with a polished lip. The front wheels are 18x8 and the rear wheels are 18x9.5. The wheels are wrapped with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires that are 245-40-18 on the front and 275-40-18 on the rear. This wheel and tire package looks amazing and the tires stick to the pavement.

The deluxe interior of this Camaro was designed and restored with the exterior in mind. The black and houndstooth complements the exterior perfectly. The headliner and sun visors are tight. The dome light works as it should. Everything in the interior was restored or replaced such as the rear view mirror, dash pad, dash fascia, dash hardware, steering column, door sills, door panels, door hardware, pedals and carpeting. The custom TMI houndstooth front bucket and rear seats are very comfortable. The front and rear seats are equipped with seat belts. Some custom features include New Vintage USA gauges with green lights, Billet Specialties 14” Street Lite black steering wheel, American Powertrain shifter w/ shift knob, Holley Sniper Fuel Injection control pad and black carpeted floor mats with the word Camaro embossed on them. Everything in the interior is in great working order with exception of the factory AM radio. If the new owner wants to install a new modern sound system MS CLASSIC CARS can do that at their expense. The trunk compartment was restored and painted with the correct style trunk splatter paint. Please note there is no spare tire or jack tools. If the new owner wants to install a universal spare tire and jack tools MS CLASSIC CARS can do that at their expense.

The engine compartment is highly detailed throughout with many custom parts. The backside of the hood has a new installation pad and a chrome hood spring assembly. The firewall, inner fenders and radiator support was painted in satin black. The car is powered by a new GM Performance ZZ502 V8 crate engine that is rated with 507HP and 580 ft. lbs. The engine was ordered by MS CLASSICC CARS and carries GM warranty. The engine was outfitted with a Holley Sniper fuel injection system and electronic ignition system. The Holley Sniper coil is mounted on the firewall. Some other custom features include CVF billet pulleys, ICT brackets, Tough Stuff hi-flow aluminum water pump, MSD black wires, 1-wire high output alternator, Lokar billet dip stick and power cut off knob for the battery. The engine is cooled by a new Griffith aluminum radiator with SPAL dual fans. The engine breathes through Flowmaster long tube ceramic headers and Flowmaster exhaust system. The mufflers have been wrapped in heat shield to keep the floors cool. The engine is coupled to a new American Powertrain T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission. It’s equipped with a upgraded cross-member, QuickTime bell housing and McLeod twin disc HP clutch. The power is transferred to the GM 12-bolt POSI rear end with a Moon center diff cover and 3.73 gears. It’s equipped with power steering which works excellent. The drivetrain in this car is awesome and it absolutely rips!

The undercarriage is also highly detailed throughout with many custom parts. The floors were painted in satin black which is clean and simple. It’s equipped with sub frame connectors for extra strength. Everything was restored or replaced such as the fuel tank, fuel lines, brake lines, etc. The front suspension consists of a complete QA1 setup which includes lower control arms, upper control arms, adjustable coil overs and sway bar. The rear suspension consists of a complete Calvert setup which includes 2-piece leaf springs, Caltracs traction bars and 9-way adjustable shocks. It’s equipped with a Right Stuff power four wheel disc brake setup including a 8” chrome booster, chrome master cylinder, black calipers and 11.1” slotted rotors and emergency brake.

Good Luck getting anyone to buy that! I mean you’d have to love gorgeous cars and be ok with spending fair money. I can go on…. Sheesh !

Agree! Will be a fun ride. Awesome. But I don’t see a price in the ad, just that there’s several interested buyers. And that MSCC recently spent almost $50k on it.
