Cowl Plenum Experts - Real or Repo?
I have had this piece for about 25 years. The box it was in is handwritten 2X4 crossram. What do you guys think? Real? What does it fit?

It is real, first design crossram. I think it is also used on cowl plenum chevelle’s.

I think that is the Impala / Chevelle duct. The 67-68 Camaro Z28 cowl plenum duct laps up onto the top of the firewall (top set of screws go down into the top edge of the firewall). However, I don't know if the cross ram duct was different in that regard.

Crossram cowl plenum had two different ducts.
- The first design was the same as yours and also was used on Chevelle’s - The second design over lapped the firewall cowl and was similar to the single four cowl plenum but did not dip down. The second design crossram cowl plenum was also larger than the first design. |
