Got the trans out of the 62 today. The ever so common popping out of 2nd gear T10. I'll get this straightened out next week.

I traveled to Chicago this week to get the transmission straightened out, as well as look at an injected 57 and a dual quad 59. No surprise, 2nd gear was a little funky, but the synchro and blocker looked really good. Someone has been in the trans before (again, no surprise).
The trans overall looks really nice. Glad to say, this one has not been abused and blown up. The plan was I'd be able to bring the transmission back home with me on Tuesday. Due to the fact this is an early aluminum T10, it has a 32 tooth 2nd gear as opposed to the later 30 tooth (stronger). Soooooo, I had to wait a few extra days to source a nice, USA made 2nd gear. That all got finished up yesterday. Once I get back from the NCRS Regional in Iowa, I can get this buttoned up week after next. |

I ordered a 24ft Featherlite at the 1st of the year. It came in a few weeks ago. So far, I'm impressed with the unit.

VERY nice !! and light. You have the facility to clean it after salt use too. Should look like new for a long time.
Just noticed the fender well comes out too for floor to ceiling escape. That will be nice for the low cars.

Now that I'm back from Iowa, I can get back on the 62. I cleaned up all of the old grease in the shifter, lubed it up, mocked and adjusted it on the trans. Just got back from a 15 mile test ride......works perfect now.
62 degrees and sunny as I write this. Kinda hard not to say the hell with it and just ride around today |
