Default Black paint for 68 Camaro speedo and tach tunnels in gauge cluster

What has been used to be the most accurate finish?

I would suggest: rust-oleum 7220 texture black
Source a can and perform a test spray, I think it may be to "course" I think Gm applied a anti glare black to the instrument bore for anti-glare.

Could we talk Red int paints via PM?

That’s awesome. I shot mine with too much flattening agent so it was too dull. Just resprayed it looking for that same semi gloss as yours. Needs a couple days to cure before I judge it.
