I should have shot a series of Tests to accomplish a "Flatter" Finish.
Per spec sheet: SU4985 Universal Matting Agent. They Came out WAY to glossy, I knew better and have a recovery plan to scuff with 0000 steel wool later on the Face portion that is visible at a later date. The Silver grain is very tight, fine & well distributed, clean w/o weird tints. It took many many coats to cover the black primer. I shot it within the "recoat" period specified. Patience was required following the Tech sheet. I also did not go crazy on "body" working the Wheels since they cleaned up very nice with Glass Bead & Walnut media & I am not super good or willing to Body work wheels. I am a Fan of Krylon 1403, but for the durability of a single stage two component product will be better in the long run I feel.
