Default Mecum pics

Thanks Rick for the great pics! Nice to see some of the cars at Mecum since we can no longer watch the auction on Motortrend! Mecum has moved their TV coverage to ESPN+ which is another subscription streaming service which I refuse to pay for! I pay enough for cable tv and internet already and I'm not putting any more money in Dana Mecum's pocket, he's got plenty of money the way it is and I've totally lost all respect for Mecum for making this greedy move! I hope that many of the members here feel the same way I do and refuse to sign up for ESPN+ and maybe some day they will move the auction coverage back to a free channel that you don't have to pay extra for!!

Great pics! Thanks for sharing. Looks like some pretty decent cars. What was the deal with the black 65 409 wagon?

I’ll try to swing by it again today. It’s sorta close to the main entrance from the parking lot.

If anyone is planning to attend, one word to the wise....don't bring a pocket knife with you as you'll either have to return it to your car or throw it in the trash at the gate. Ask me how I know.

I’m amazed at how these auctions come up with more and more cars, or are they just recycling the same ones over and over? Just curious.

I have major auction data for '69 Camaros back many years. 44% of them have been auctioned previously. Glendale is no different; 9 are re-runs.

There is a Z/28 currently on eBay, been auctioned seven times. A COPO is on its eighth auction. Some of these are flips, can be quite profitable.

I believe Mecum has a re-run option for cars that don't make reserve.

Great pictures Rick, Thx for sharing. I will be going on Saturday to see the cars. I'll catch up with you at the end of the month at the Pavilions.
