So the correct non-stock hood for a '67 Yenko would be a Stinger?
If so, then did Yenko '67s use stock SS hoods early on and go to the Stinger as they became available? That would mean that both SS and Stinger hoods would be correct on a '67 Yenko. Did Yenko ever put "427" scripts on SS hoods the way Motion did on their first '67 Camaro 427 conversion? Not trying to nit-pick, just want to know for my own education. ![]() |

The Stinger hood was a option on 67s, SS hood would be standard. The hood Camaro Specialties has is made by in South Carolina and is damn close, and damn nice. I just got one for a current project, it is much better then the real ones I used on the Nickey and Yenko I did years ago. I also here they are going up in price next batch due to increased resin cost.

Frank,
The ones we have now are even better. Not that yours isn't nice. That's how technology is these days. I have seen a few other companies 67 Yenko hoods and they are not quite correct. Sure ours cost a little more but you get a very nice correct hood. Kim, Give us a call if you want a hood. As Frank said they are very nice. BTW, if you can't get through that's because some clown keeps calling and telling us to "hurry up". ![]() Have a nice day Charley. ![]() Rick H. |

Sidepipes look good but if it wasn`t ordered with them i wouldn`t put them on.(just my opinion)Since so very few 1967 Yenko camaros exist its nice to see when they are restored back to orginal.
