I like the idea of getting the engine and tranny installed and showing it "as found" at SCR-10 this summer...I'll see what Brian, Joe and Frank can do to make that happen.
The scattershield and M21 tranny are presently in Bert's '69 Camaro, but he's agreed to remove them in time for the mainland shipping. Thanks for the help, Chuck...I may take you up on that, depending on ground transport arrangements to SCW in PA. Here's shot of the 427 engine [3955270] that Dana installed. ![]() |

Looks like the carb had that funky shooter into the secondaries - common for the period eh? I see them in the old mag articles about Dana, Motion, etc...

------What a story!!! To top it off the parts sellers are not going to make much off the restoration. There dont appear to be any parts missing at all. Long time owner looks like a good guy. Bet he will be making a few trips to the 48 for various shows. Be neat to see him make a pass in his car once or twice.........Bill S
