I picked up a 66 Cyclone GT that has some hubcaps I've never seen before. They may have been pretty common caps in the 60's. They make the steel wheels look like chrome reverse wheels.

Removing the hubcaps could give a stock car a day 2 look in minutes.

I thought they were pretty cool and thought I'd share.

Jason

NONE of you guys have seen a '64-'67 Cyclone with these before? I'm kinda surprised. They're FoMoCo-spec originals, used those years on Mercury Cyclones. Ford of Australia used them on their XR GT's during the late '60s. I have a set on my shelf I planned to use on my '65 Comet, it took a while to get them on eBay as I was always being outbid by some guy from Australia on 3 or 4 previous sets I bid on. Sets tend to run $200 or so for usable sets (you'll note fronts and rears are different) without much damage. If you plan to use them note where the valve stem is in relation to the lugs, not all wheels will work. Some offsets (amount of dish) won't work either. Original '65/'66 Mustang wheels will work, and they're not too tough to come by.

XR GT (lot of neat wheel info here, check out the factory 5 spokes)
