Cool thread. I watched the entire auction and still have it recorded on my cable box. Often, I found myself getting annoyed by the commentators, because they just weren't saying much about the actual car. For instance, and I've watched all the Mecum auctions this spring, what really annoys me is that over half the time, they don't say whether the car at auction is a manual or automatic. To me this is a major point in terms of what the car might go for. I know I can go look it up, but then I'm missing what's happening on TV.
So, anyway, on the LS6 Colin, perhaps you could explain this to me (and maybe this has been in another post; if so, I apologize): how did the 450 H/P get on the rear bumper molding? I've seen many other LS6s and never have I seen that. I was just curious. I also find it pretty cool to be able to talk to some of the people who bought some of these great cars. I'll keep watchin if you keep buyin'. haha. |
