Wow....cool part....not that I'm doubting, but how can you tell if it is GM ?? I have one I bought years ago and I always wondered

This is a real GM hood, looks exactly the same as Jeff's.

Thank's Rick, I also got pics of an original hood from Jon Mello and others before I bought this. The only difference I see is my hood does not have the holes drilled for hood pins and I do not see any signs that this hood has ever been bolted on a car.

How about an NOS set of four '61 Impala SS spinner wheel covers still in their boxes....is that rare enough?
