Thasks, Ya, we were on the fence about the chin spoiler. We went with none.
He also had the firewood dash and he had to hunt down a green steering wheel with the rosewood in. Most early cars here in the Detroit area all have that 1974 Z steering wheel on, crazy.
At the time I did his bay, we couldn’t find battery cables, he also left a chrome timing cover on which I hated, and the whole master, lines, booster was painted body color. He removed all the paint but that still all has to be done.

Yes. Even when I cruise , I put all the crappy stock Radio back stuff in, I just want to hear the exhaust, no tunes, & no GF.

Hey thanks. I’m trying to get pics of his car. It’s even been years since we hung out.

What are your thoughts on people adding ram air to cars that never had it when they left the factory?

I don't mind it if the factory offered it on that model. Putting a cowl hood on a Nova or 2nd Gen doesn't appeal to me at all.

Doesn't bother me unless they are trying to pass it off as something it isn't.

Also, doesn't bother me a bit to see almost any day two mod.

Think about it. Johnny buys his new Z/28 and brings home an issue of Hot Rod. Did HR recommend he keep it stock? New tires and wheels, traction bars, headers, cheater slicks, and on and on. ALMOST NO ONE drove a bone stock HP car in the late 60's early 70's. First thing we wanted to do was figure out how to make it faster.

I hate it when I try to clean my car, you pull the paper towels out of the trunk and they are the ones with the 1/2 sheets!

How about when there’s a hearse at a show, and some guy calls it a Hurst.
I’m not sure why a hearse is at a show but .....

Guys who put up those pop up canopies and don't anchor them. I had my car at a show last year and a guy pulled in next to me and put up one of those and didn't anchor it. He walked away and after a while the wind started getting up a little and his canopy started to blow away. A guy behind my car grabbed it and held it down. When the guy was located and told to anchor it or take it down he got mad and smarted off to me about not having a cool place to sit because of me.

No canopies allowed at a couple shows around here.
