Because my customers come first it is unlikely I will have the car to the stage where I could show it by November even as a partial restoration but we will be making every attempt.

Rick; please note that I said 2019, not 2018, as 2019 we will host our Class of '69 Invitational, marking the 50 Year Anniversary. Of course, "in progress" would be great at whatever stage it may be in in November of this year. I am sure everyone would love to see it!

I found a gentleman with thousands of original decals and he had them. Just waiting to hear back. I will likely not put them back on the car but would be nice to have them on display with it.

Duh. Sorry Bob, my heads a little foggy. Rest assured if all goes according to plans it will be there and finished in 2019.

Great find! I love the story. I can't wait to see the finished product.

Were some posts deleted or did I miss the haters?

The haters were some people that had called him and said that THEY deserved the car, not him!

After three weeks of being down with the Flu finally back to where I can extend my public congratulations on a great find.

Part of that time was spent in AZ at the pavillions with many on this board. It was very difficult to keep the news of the find under my hat. Rick, you don't know how many times I about spilled the beans.

Congrats to both of you.

Don Stowers

PS, I'm sending you a few pictures I took on the day we picked it up.

That is precisely why you were one of the very few people that I confided in Don. Hopefully you and Judi were able to have a good trip and a good time in spite of the flu. Welcome back.
