Dang, Doug, I never paid attention to those before. Is that something Yenko did, or the original owner for racing ?

Parks 67 Yenko 1991
The Parks 67 Yenko was on the cover of this Camaro Corral issue dated December 1991. Only one pic of the engine compartment but it doesn’t show the rad support area where the eight holes are ( I think the holes were cut by a racer to place the removed spark plugs).
Notice there are no hood springs on the car. The hood on the Parks car is a Harwood product IMO.

The holes are there, Richard. You can see only 1 on the right side, at the bottom of the pic. The left side isn't in the pic.

If I were to give my opinion, I would definitely say it was done for the intentions of racing by an owner at some point in time

Notice that they removed the hood catch assembly. It must have interfered with the hood when closed. I don’t believe Yenko would have left that structure out.

I have seen the holes in the core support to hold plugs for "racing" numerous times over the years. It would not be something a dealership would do as typical, unless of course someone asked and paid for it.
