The carbs look NOS, nice, but that still wouldnt be correct for 69 390 horse, which was a Q Jet motor

The 400 tri power was a 390 2 bolt main block with the tri powers in the trunk from the factory. The tri powers were dealer installed.

So every 400 horse Corvette in the world was shipped with a 390 horse Q jet motor, and the dealer installed a Tripower on it? I guess they retamped or stamped the engine while they were at it?

69 Corvette 390 Horse engine stamps: LL, LM, MH, MI
400 Horse stamps: LN, LQ, MJ, MK

Sorry i just can't buy that they were dealer installed.

What's up with the $3,000 "flat shipping charge" seems deceptive to me. First it was a "copo" block, and now this.
Sorry if this offends, but this is not how business should be done in my opinion.

Could I pick it up and save the shipping?? I'd drive a long ways to save 3 G's, especially if the tripower was included in that no reserve auction.
