The Alabama Deuce! I love the name . I am glad this Nova is making its way to Schonye. It'll be an awesome hotrod when its finished. There are more hotrod items not shown in those pics! the trunk holds even more go fast goodies.

Re: Alabama Deuce
Bill, he's been a lurker for sometime. He actually found his way to us through the Eastern IA. Nova club. He was a North Liberty IA. native that met one of our members at a show in IA. City. His name is Nathan Zinn. We've been looking for pretty much this car for probably 4-5 years although he wanted a standard interior with rubber mat. My comment was that this is probably as close, and as nice as we're ever going to find before I re retire.
I think he's probably going to come past the lurker stage now. And yes, we'll need some of those slots. |

Re: Alabama Deuce
Cool car! I noticed that the car has a Marshall County tag. Was this car still located in Marshall County? I am a native of Marshall County and have never seen it before. A guy that used to work for me used to tell me that his deceased uncle had a Nova with a 427 engine that came out of Porter Wagners 67 Corvette. He was wanting me to help him fix it up as he was wanting to buy it. He wouldn't let me look at it because he thought I would try to buy it out from under him. I wonder if this is the car. Owners last name was Moore.

Re: Alabama Deuce
I don't think so. Owners last name was Boles, and while it shows 427 emblems, it has the nbrs matching L78 396/402 in it. There's a possibility that this one might have been sold out of Albertville. Still checking on that. I think the one you're looking for is still out there. Cool story that the 427 came out of Wagoner's vette. Did he wreck the vette?
