Default Atwood Lake Fall Festival & Car Show Pictures

My Wife and I went to the annual Fall Festival & Car Show at Atwood Lake Resort which is in Tuscarawas County, Ohio about 20 minutes outside of New Philadelphia, Ohio. It was a beautiful fall day and we could think of nothing better to do on a Sunday.

I didn't take the car down, we rode the Harley and enjoyed every minute of the beautiful, scenic ride. The car show is held every year in conjuction with the festival. There were about 500 cars including some very nice, unique stuff. There was also a Native American Village, Mountain Men Village, Arts and Crafts Booths and very cool, large R.C. Airplanes that people were flying out over the lake..

After the show we rode into New Philly and ate dinner at a place called Hot Rod City.. This was a very neat restaurant.. The decor inside was awesome.. It was an old service station turned into a restaurant.. I took pictures of the restaurant and included them below...

Enjoy... Rich

VERY COOL MOPAR AND HISTORY...

VERY NICE 66 NOVA...

COUPLE OF AWESOME OLD MOPARS!!

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW A 73 SWINGER THIS CLEAN IN THE RUST BELT??????

THIS WAS A BEAUTIFUL FORD W/NICE RESTO WORK...

THIS 70 MONTE CARLO WAS VERY CLEAN.. MOSTLY ORIGINAL EXCEPT FOR ONE REPAINT AND SOME TOUCH UP UNDER THE HOOD. I SPOKE TO THE OWNER FOR A WHILE. OLDER FELLA THAT HAS OWNED IT SINCE EARLY 1980S. SECOND OWNER CAR AND I BELIEVE HE SAID IT WAS PURCHASED NEW AT EWING CHEVY IN CANTON, OHIO. ORIGINAL CORTEZ SILVER CAR.

THE TRUNK WAS UNTOUCHED AND ORIGINAL W/THE SPARE. NOTICE THE SPATTER PAINT TEXTURE..

SPATTER PAINT CLOSE UP SHOT

NO OWNER AROUND THIS ONE BUT I CHECKED IT OUT PRETTY GOOD AND DETERMINED IT TO BE AN ORIGINAL 70 SS BIG BLOCK CAR.. LOOKED LIKE THE ORIGINAL LS6/L78 LOW RISE ALUMINUM INTAKE WAS STILL ON THE MOTOR. I GUESSED IT WAS POSSIBLY AN L78 CAR DUE TO THIS

THIS WAS MY FAVORITE VETTE THERE. 1967/427 CAR.. IT WAS DONE VERY NICE!!

LOVE THE BLUE INTERIOR!!

THIS WAS IN THE NATIVE AMERICAN VILLAGE. I THINK THEY WERE DOING A RAIN DANCE BUT IT DID NOT WORK!!

THIS WAS ATWOOD LAKE ITESLF AND THE R.C. PLANES FLYING AROUND...

THIS ONE CRASH LANDED INTO THE WATER!!

OLD CUSHMAN SCOOTER DISPLAY NEAR THE R.C PLANES

SETTLERS/MOUNTAIN MEN VILLAGE

THIS IS THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOT ROD CITY RESTAURANT IN NEW PHILADELPHIA. MY HARLEY IS THE BLUE TOURING BIKE ON THE RIGHT...

AS YOU WALK INTO THE RESTAURANT.

THEY HAD AN OLD BISCAYNE W/427 SITTING RIGHT INSIDE THE RESTAURANT...

THIS WAS OUTSIDE AND TO THE REAR OF THE RESTAURANT.. THIS PLACE WAS REALLY NEAT AND THE FOOD WAS GOOD!!
